IS THERE A WAY TO STOP SOMEONE WHO HAS REGSITERED MY DOMAIN NAME?

Yes, we can file what is called a UDRP Complaint to seize a domain name abusively registered by another party.  The  entire process takes about forty (40) days, but generally we can take the domain name that has been registered abusively from the individual or organizatio that has it.  See here for more information.  In some situations, we can file a lawsuit under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) and get money damages and fines as well as the domain name in question.

WHAT IS THE ANTICYBERSQUATTING CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT?

The Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) is a statute enacted by the USA in 1999 to illegalize the registration and use of domain that should rightfully belong to another party.
